IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Charleston, SC)

Lumen Juniper Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Charleston. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
