IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Charleston, SC)

Summit Stone Freight is a Charleston logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our user accounts and access. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
