IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Charleston, SC)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Sable Insurance and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be user accounts and access. You would join a small organisation of about 200 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
