IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Buffalo, NY)

Lumen Quarry Energy is an energy provider in Buffalo focused on reliable service and fair billing. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with billing disputes. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
