IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Buffalo, NY)

Rivermark Hollow Environmental Services Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for collection routes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 23 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with collection routes. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification.
