IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Atlanta, GA)

Cedar Quarry Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Atlanta, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our user accounts and access. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Atlanta. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
