IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Anchorage, AK)

Lumen Willow Staffing is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for retention, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 710 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with retention. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Anchorage. • We reply to every applicant.
