IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Anchorage, AK)

Ironwood Maple Manufacturing Group makes precision components in Anchorage, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our user accounts and access. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
