IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Anchorage, AK)

Stonegate Beacon Staffing Group connects candidates and employers across the Anchorage region. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. Speed and follow-up matter. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with retention. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
