IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Quarry Freight and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be user accounts and access. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with dock schedules. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
