IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Wichita, KS)

Cedar Bridge Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Wichita. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Wichita. • We reply to every applicant.
