IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Redstone Orchard Energy is an energy provider in Virginia Beach focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with outage response. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
