IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Nova Wren Arts Center Group is an arts centre in Virginia Beach with a full calendar of events, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with visitor services. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
