IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Stonegate Rook Community Partners is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for client intake, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with client intake. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
