IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Sparrow Arts Center and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. You would join a small organisation of about 42 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with exhibitions. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
