IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Toledo, OH)

Cedar Juniper Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Toledo. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. You would join a small organisation of about 60 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with equipment calibration. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
