IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Toledo, OH)

Redstone Ridge Insurance Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for policy renewals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with policy renewals. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
