IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Tampa, FL)

Cedar Quarry Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Tampa with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
