IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Tampa, FL)

Northwind Nest Manufacturing is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for scrap and rework, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
