IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Nova Wren Arts Center Partners and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with school partnerships. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
