IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (San Jose, CA)

Clearpath Wren Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in San Jose, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with recycling loads. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
