IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (San Jose, CA)

Amberfield Ivory Inspection Services Partners is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for test reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
