IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (San Jose, CA)

Clearpath West Environmental Services Group collects and processes waste and recycling around San Jose. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
