IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Stone Energy Group and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with usage data. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
