IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (San Diego, CA)

Lumen Rook Markets is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 113 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
