IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (San Antonio, TX)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Bright Markets and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. You would join a small organisation of about 156 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with store inventory. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Antonio. • We reply to every applicant.
