IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (San Antonio, TX)

We are growing our team at Cedar Lakeside Hospitality and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. We work weekends and holidays and we make it fun. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with housekeeping schedules. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
