IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Salt Lake City, UT)

Northwind Summit Construction is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for subcontractor invoices, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 137 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We reply to every applicant.
