IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Sacramento, CA)

Summit Quarry Environmental Services is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for landfill records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
