IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Sacramento, CA)

Nova Works is a Sacramento retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with shrink and waste. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
