IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Rochester, NY)

Bluepeak Lakeside Arts Center is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for event logistics, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with event logistics. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
