IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Richmond, VA)

Greenridge West Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Richmond, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with certifications. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
