IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Richmond, VA)

Amberfield Mill Arts Center is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for visitor services, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Everyone pitches in on show days. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with visitor services. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
