IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Reno, NV)

Stonegate Quill Energy is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for meter readings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with meter readings. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
