IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Reno, NV)

Cedar Thistle Markets is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for online orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in Reno. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with online orders. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
