IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Summit Property Management and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people based in Reno. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with unit turnovers. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
