IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Greenridge Umber Foods produces packaged foods at its Savannah plant, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. You would join a small organisation of about 64 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
