IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Bright Quarry Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Jacksonville, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with client sites. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Jacksonville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
