IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Bluepeak Junction Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Las Vegas. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Las Vegas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
