IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Bright West Environmental Services Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for collection routes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with collection routes. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
