IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Silverline Sparrow Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Hartford presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. You would join a small organisation of about 74 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with visitor services. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
