IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Greenridge Mill Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Raleigh presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. You would join a large organisation of about 731 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with school partnerships. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
