IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Highbridge Quarry Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the San Antonio area, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with network equipment. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
