IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Foxglove Forge Telecom provides broadband and phone service around Richmond, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with customer tickets. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
