IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

We are growing our team at Nova Fern Freight Group and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
