IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Quarry Environmental Services and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. You would join a large organisation of about 608 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
