IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Nova Glen Inspection Services is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
