IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Rivermark Field Staffing is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for client orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with client orders. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
