IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Harborlight Orchard Civic Services supports public agencies in Knoxville with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. Benefits and stability attract long tenure. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with budget submissions. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
