IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Lumen Fern Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Houston presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with visitor services. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
